Capital Region residents are invited to Crossgates on Saturday, June 1, 2019 to play Tobacco Trouble – an interactive, life-sized board game hosted by Reality Check youth leaders from the area.
Those who play Tobacco Trouble will qualify to win a $25 Lucky Strikes coupon towards bowling and shoes. Reality Check youth leaders will educate community members about tobacco marketing tactics, youth tobacco use, and the benefits of tobacco-free outdoor areas. Tobacco Trouble, and other educational activities, will be set up outside of Lucky Strike Social from 10 am to 3 pm.
Crossgates became a tobacco-free property on World No Tobacco Day, May 31, of 2012. Crossgates has since hosted a variety of tobacco free events with Reality Check, Capital District Tobacco-Free Communities, and St. Peter’s Health Partners.
