This year, Crossgates will be CLOSED for Thanksgiving. Enjoy some much needed family time! However, if you would like a meal, Texas de Brazil will be open on Thanksgiving Day from 12pm-9pm…reservations required! Regal Cinemas will be open, as well, for your viewing pleasure.
BLACK FRIDAY DEALS ARE AVAILABLE NOW!
Many retailers have already kicked off their Black Friday deals, so why not take advantage of them? To let you in on a little secret…some of the same deals you are seeing now, will be the same ones offered on Black Friday. Here’s a preview of some of the many Black Friday deals. Also, check the Crossgates sales page regularly. Retailers will be adding or updating new sales daily, throughout the Black Friday weekend and entire holiday season.
BLACK FRIDAY PLANNING
If you want to shop on Black Friday, make the most of your time by planning out your day. Here’s what we suggest:
- Figure out which stores you plan to visit first. Make sure you know what time they will be open.
- Review our online digital directory by clicking on your favorite store to map out your day.
- Shop ‘til your heart is content!
On Black Friday, the mall is open from 7am-9pm, but select anchor stores will be opening even earlier; hours are listed below:
- JCPenney opens @ 5am
- Best Buy opens @ 5am
- Dick’s Sporting Goods opens @ 6am
- Macy’s opens @ 6am
TAKE A FOOD BREAK
There are 20+ restaurants and eateries inside Crossgates that will be open to accommodate your hunger pangs. Shoppers may even want to make reservations in advance, to avoid waiting in line. Visit our list of restaurants and eateries here.

In coordination with Capital Photo, a long-time Capital Region business, Santa will be making his way to his location on the lower level near Apex Entertainment and can’t wait to see all of the excited children! Stop in and get your photo with Santa and also get a free 30 minute play card from Apex Entertainment and a voucher for a complimentary kids meal from 110 Grill with any purchase. Crossgates is home to many non-profit organizations throughout the holiday season, with several of them hosting their largest fundraising efforts of the year within our center. Groups such as The Regional Food Bank, Make a Wish, The Salvation Army, Kiwanis Clubs, Knights of Pythias & others will be collecting funds for their organizations at various locations. Please think about donating while you are in your shopping travels….no gift is too small and every donation goes a long way for those that are less fortunate.
