After decades of working with older adults, we have learned that successful aging is about all of us having what we need in order to navigate the transitions associated with aging, at any stage of life. The staff at LifePath strives each day to bring opportunities and resources to older adults, regardless of race, income, or circumstances, allowing them to maintain their independence and continue living a full life with dignity and joy. Our organization has grown far beyond just providing senior services, into an organization specializing in helping people manage the various transitions we all experience as we get older…from exploring options for in-home care, to connecting caregivers with resources, to helping families make informed decisions that best fit their lifestyle. The programs and services offered at LifePath have been shown to reduce isolation, increase community involvement, decrease many of the effects of health issues associated with aging, and help older adults stay in their communities. Our programs have a direct impact on older individuals’ physical and psychological health and improve their overall quality of life.
