Objective:
The Yogibo Assistant Store Manager is responsible for all aspects of sales and operations of the retail location in the Store Manager’s absence.
The ideal candidate will have a strong history of retail sales, inventory management, and a strong desire to become a Yogibo store manager.
General Responsibilities:
- Help the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring and onboarding staff
- Help train the staff to achieve 100% accuracy in demonstrational sales pitch and operational processes
- Help inspire a culture of constant coaching pushing to accomplish goals for the team while striving to achieve company KPIs
- Lead by example and inspire the team for sales and operational excellence
- Assist with inventory control with physical inventories and cycle counts
- Help merchandise the store for eye appeal and sales success
- Manage sales floor control in the manager’s absence insuring customers have the best experience
- Complete administration tasks in Store Manager’s absence; make cash deposits on time, and investigating cash variances

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Accomplished sales and customer service skills
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills; being the “calming presence” in all situations
- Attention to detail and strong organization skills
- Initiative to drive sales and meet sales goals
- A demonstrated commitment to teamwork, professional and ethical standards
- Work schedule is a combination of days and nights with strong store presence on weekends and holidays-at least 30 hours/week
Education and Experience:
- High school Diploma, Associate Degree in Business, Business Administration or a related field
- 2+ years of sales and customer service experience
- 1 year of management experience
- Well-developed computer skills essential; must be a skilled user of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, POS system and Word.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds
- Must be able to be active while on the sales floor including using arms and shoulders to dress furniture
- Prolonged periods of standing
Compensation & Benefits:
- Compensation is competitive base hourly $17-$18/hour (based on skill set and experience) plus 5% commission-The Combination will result in $20-$22/hour
- Reports to the Store Manager, DM and Director of Retail
- Non exempt
- Monthly sales incentives based on achieving sales goals
